Grateful Friday

The fountain grass that I planted as a little baby last June, just look at it now. It is glorious when the evening sun makes the heads glow and wind makes them dance.

Unbelievable week of music -- 4 outstanding shows in 5 days -- The Radiators, The Blasters, Joe Bonamassa, and the incomparable John Bulter Trio!

My computer is finally home from the hospital, gone for 9 days. I am slowly re-building my programs, settings, bookmarks, address books. All of my personal files and photos were saved, thank goodness!

The temperature here dropped to 38 degrees this week and we still slept outside, dressed in sweats and cozy under double duvets.

It's my mom's birthday this weekend. (Hi, Mom!)

Cathy,

Thanks for the "Happy Birthday" wishes. I wish I could spend the day with you. I have happy memories of my last birthday when we all got up in the middle of the night to go to the balloon races in Reno. It was fun but not something I would want to do every year.

With love

Mom

38 degrees! You are brave! It only dropped to the high 40's here and I already started shutting my windows at night - I'm a wimp...and when it's that chilly at 5:30 a.m...IN MY ROOM...I'm less likely to get out of my warm and cozy bed to walk the dog!
