Looking Forward to a Week of Very Good Eating

Since going to the farmer's market this morning, we have:

Steamed beets and soaked them in blackberry/vanilla balsamic vinegar

Sliced an English cucumber in white balsamic vinegar with fresh thyme

Made a fruit salad of pineapple, strawberries, and blackberries

Started a batch of limoncello with lemon zest and vodka (4 weeks to go)

Made a simple syrup with the lemon juice of the above lemons

Made garlic~parmesan dipping oil

soaked half a pineapple in Meyers rum for “Drunken Pineapple”

hulled two pounds of peas

You inspired me. This morning I went to the Korean market where the produce is cheap and good. Now I have to get going and follow your advise on how to fix it.
