Arrival

Good news! There's internet here at June's house, so I'll be able to keep up for now. After a 26 hour trip, we were pretty tired. My mother's cousin June, and her family, welcomed us to her warm and cheerful home, cooking us a delicious dinner and sending us off to bed, full and happy. Fell into a deep sleep until 4 am and then wide awake. I lay in bed thinking, "It's not raining, I'm going out." Amy got up with me and we did a turn around the garden, then a short walk to the village, taking pictures and enjoying the morning.

Amy returned to bed, but I made a cup of tea and sat reading for a long time before anyone else got up. Now my stomach is rumbling, time for breakfast.
