Yes, it's really true, I am 50 years old today. It's a good time to reflect on all the wonderful things I have in my life. My family conspired to take me on a big city weekend in San Francisco--it was filled with delicious food and adventures. And they even gave me a diamond necklace from Tiffany's (shhhh, don't tell anyone). But I really got what I wanted, which was time with all of them. It was casual and low-key, and anyone who knows me, knows that's what I like.
When I stop to think about what my life is, I realize that I have the dream life. I have the luxury of a slow deliberate life. I get to do what I want, however I want. There is the time to think, and dream, and travel, and love, and cook, and garden, and read, and eat. I love my husband, my family, my home, my life. I am eternally grateful.
