Cinnamon Rolls

These are too decadent and delicious and way too easy to make. I really shouldn't give you the recipe; I don't want to encourage gluttony or anything.

You need 1 1/2 pounds of the yeast bread here.

Topping (melt together in a round cake pan)
6 T butter
1/2 cups brown sugar
30 pecans or walnuts in large pieces

Filling (cream together)
4 T butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
1 t cinnamon
1/4 t nutmeg

Prepare
preheat the oven to 350 degrees
roll your dough to a 1/8 inch thick rectangle
spread the filling over the dough, sprinkle with 1/2 chopped nuts
start with the long side to roll the dough into a log, jelly roll style
cut with a serrated knife into 8 equal pieces
arrange the pieces with the swirled side up in the prepared cake pan
bake about 40 minutes
remove and run a knife around the inside of the pan to release the rolls
invert on a serving dish
if you let them sit too long they will stick to the pan.

My mouth just watered! Those were soooo good, like I said, they are better than wildflower bakery's sticky buns, and that is saying a lot!

Love,

Finally a new posting and what do I see .... something I really shouldn't eat and it looks too inviting for words.
