I am sorry to have to tell you that Chris Gaffney didn't make it. He died last Thursday. He was a wonderful singer and he will be missed around the world by music lovers everywhere. My heart goes out to his family and friends.
Brad and I took it hard, listening to his music, talking about him, telling our friends. I choked on Sunday, when I went to check the mailbox, there was a postcard: "I LOVE YOU TOO! GAFF" in his own handwriting. It had been mailed on Wednesday.
