When I got an e-mail from someone at Flickr about using my photograph to paint a picture, I didn't know what to think. Look how wonderful it turned out. I am so flattered that Cheryl chose to paint my photo. Look at it now! She did such a good rendition of it. You can see more of her work here.
This is one of those cases where they say send your work out into the world, and you never know what will happen. I never thought anyone would think my pictures are good enough to paint. And someone I didn't know from Connecticut wanted to paint it just because I posted the picture on Flickr.
