Canoe trip--Milton Lake is tiny and quite secluded. A small group of Canada Geese are home here, showing their downy white butts as they feed on the plants from the bottom of the lake. Two osprey whirled and flapped over our heads. Dragonflies siddled up to check us out. We opened a bottle of wine and lounged in the sun for awhile.
Sleeping outside under double duvets, the air a little more than cool, during the full moon, leaves fallen all around, knowing that it’s the last time this year.
The apples from Amy & Ty’s tree—sweet, crunchy, delicious.
Postcards have been arriving daily—the creativity, variety, and effort that these women put into their works-of-art is amazing.
