You might hear on the news that a levee broke on the Truckee River in Reno, but that's a misstatement. It's in Fernley, about 35 miles east of here. Which means downstream from us. I feel terrible for all of the those people, how awful to be so completely flooded so quickly.
About 4PM it turned to snow and came down very hard for about two hours. But in that short time, we got about 10 inches. Jeremy arrived about an hour ago and started clearing the driveway for us. But it's a really long driveway.
