Homestretching

Hello --

Just a quick note to you all from China. I wish I had time to describe all the sights and experiences we've been having here, but internet time is so limited, especially considering everything on the screen is in Chinese! I am doing this completely from memory. But I got this far.

I thought it was going to be so weird to be here, but it's really not. We feel very comfortable, in a nice hotel in Beijing. We've been to the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Tomorrow is the Summer Palace and a rickshaw ride through the old Peking. This place is going nuts preparing for the Olympics next year.

I wish I could write more. I promise great photos when I can get them on here.
